"When God created man He gave each of us at least ONE Gift to share with the world. So many of us are still seeking Him for an understanding, use and performance of our gift. I submit to you, listen to Him in your secret place and you will hear a sound that will not only assist you on your journey, but may very well be so refreshing that you will not be able to resist the passion to share what you heard with others."
- Rev. G. Bricey Ellis, Jr.
Matthew 28:16-20

Our History, Purpose and Vision

Zion's Hope International Ministries was inspired by Almighty God into the heart and mind of our Founder and President, Reverend G. Bricey Ellis, Jr. in the early 1970's.

It is the passion of Reverend Ellis is to come along side sharing God's Vision with as many lay leaders and clergy as possible. The simple yet challenging goal is to cast His vision with accountable instruction, in the areas of Christian evangelism and discipleship, beginning in the urban setting. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Reverend Ellis was exposed to many of the issues and concerns, lifestyles and philosophies that keep Gods' children from living a fulfilled and purposed life. While researching and finding that there was not enough clear Biblical information "out there" to guide and inform seekers of The Truth, Zion's Hope International Ministry was birthed.

The Objective of this ministry via the vehicle of corporate prayer, city wide Spiritual strategic planning, community leadership institutes and conferences, Zion's Hope desires to demonstrate significant and measurable community change. This will be evidenced by a measured decrease in negative and unsafe behaviors in various targeted Christian and non-Christian organizations and institutions of service/educational reform. The end result will be a measured increase of 5% to 25% in the following areas:

1) The positive awareness and subscription of Christian morals, values and ethics in a local city wide setting...neighborhood by neighborhood.

2) Numerical increase in monthly participation of congregational worship and small group neighborhood Bible study.

3) Increased communication and involvement in pro-active projects between community and governmental administrators, towards solving mounting unsafe citywide concerns and issues.

4) A heightened awareness and value towards neighborhood and personal responsibility. This will begin with the discipleship of the heads of individual households.
